Innovo Research Hires Cerdi Beltre as New Chief Operating Officer
Beltre to lead efforts on greater patient access to research studies to bring new therapies to market soonerInnovo Research announced today the appointment of Cerdi Beltre as chief operating officer at the company. Beltre, a leader at several clinical research technology, services and healthcare organizations, joins the company after serving as senior vice president, provider solutions at Principia Health Sciences.
“We are so very pleased to have Cerdi join our team,” said Jeff James, Innovo Research chief executive officer. “As we have grown our relationships with extraordinary provider groups and best-in-class trial sponsors, it was clear that we needed a strong leader on our executive team to help continue to build and refine our infrastructure. We were impressed with Cerdi’s experience and capabilities and are confident that she can drive Innovo Research to even greater success.”
As chief operating officer at Innovo Research, Beltre will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including:
- Leadership and day-to-day direction for the operations at all corporate, affiliated, and site-managed locations
- Oversight and direction for the short- and long-term planning of the organization
- Direction and coordination of both clinical and non-research related business activities
- Integrating the strategic plan of the organization with the operations
“After speaking with the leaders at Innovo Research there was no doubt that this was the place for me,” stated Beltre. “Clinical research and standard of care continue to be siloed for much of our nation’s healthcare providers and patients. The work that Jeff and the Innovo Research team have done to include clinical research as a care option addresses this gap. With Innovo Research’s access to such a diverse patient population across the United States and the quality of the data-driven provider network, Innovo Research is going to be a major player in the clinical research realm. And I’m excited to be a part of it.”
